Tempest Station ID help
The Station ID identifies which WeatherFlow Tempest station should drive myTempest. It is different from the device ID and different from your personal access token.
How to identify it
- Open the Tempest web or mobile app while signed in to the account that can view the station.
- Select the station you want to display.
- Look in station details, sharing links, or the station URL for the numeric station identifier.
- Copy only the station number into the myTempest Station ID field.
Common mix-up
If live data does not appear, confirm that you did not paste the Device ID into the Station ID field. Station IDs identify stations; Device IDs identify a physical Tempest sensor device.
Questions people ask
Why does my Station ID matter?
It tells myTempest which Tempest station should provide local observations for the display.
Can one token access multiple stations?
It can if the Tempest account has access to those stations. myTempest still needs the specific Station ID.
