Terms of Use

Permitted use

myWeatherDesk is provided for personal weather awareness and display use. You may open and use the hosted app from myweatherdesk.com for your own household, desk, tablet, or pilot-display workflow.

Ownership

The myWeatherDesk name, interface, layout, visual weather scenes, generated chart surfaces, copy, source code, compiled client runtime, screenshots, original graphics, and documentation are owned by myWeatherDesk or its licensors. All rights are reserved except for the limited use allowed here.

Copying and rehosting restrictions

  • Do not copy, clone, publish, rehost, redistribute, sell, or present myWeatherDesk or a confusingly similar app as your own work.
  • Do not use myWeatherDesk source, compiled code, screenshots, visual design, weather-scene artwork, chart surfaces, UI copy, or branding to build a competing or derivative weather dashboard.
  • Do not remove, obscure, alter, or bypass copyright notices, origin marks, proprietary notices, or runtime origin controls.
  • Do not use automated scraping, AI-assisted reconstruction, or bulk extraction to reproduce the app, its assets, or its look and feel.

Weather information

Weather data can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. myWeatherDesk is not an official warning service and does not replace the National Weather Service, emergency managers, WeatherFlow, or other official sources.

Third-party services

The app may reference or connect to services such as WeatherFlow Tempest, National Weather Service products, radar providers, geocoding providers, and forecast APIs. Those services remain subject to their own terms, availability, and data policies.

No warranties

myWeatherDesk is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, myWeatherDesk disclaims warranties and is not liable for losses caused by use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app or weather information.

Changes and enforcement

These terms may change as the product evolves. myWeatherDesk may block unauthorized copies, preserve evidence of infringement, and request removal of infringing or confusingly similar projects from hosts, code platforms, CDNs, and search engines.

Questions people ask

Can I run a local copy of myWeatherDesk?

No. Public use is limited to the hosted myweatherdesk.com app unless myWeatherDesk gives written permission.

Can I build my own weather app?

Yes, but it must be independently designed and implemented and must not copy myWeatherDesk code, assets, copy, screenshots, distinctive layout, or source-identifying presentation.
