Set up myWeatherDesk for WeatherFlow Tempest
Use this checklist on the phone, tablet, or computer you want to use. Connect a Tempest account for live station readings, or set a display location for forecast-backed weather.
Recommended setup order
- Open myweatherdesk.com/dashboard on your chosen screen and choose Setup.
- A display location is optional; leave an unrelated location unset to keep forecasts and radar around your station.
- Choose Continue to WeatherFlow and sign in on WeatherFlow's authorization page.
- Approve access, then choose the station that should drive the dashboard when the account has more than one.
- Choose Region standards, review the unit summary, then save.
What each field does
An optional display location changes forecast, radar, alert, and weather context; it does not move your Tempest sensor. WeatherFlow authorization discovers station details without asking you to copy a token, Station ID, or Device ID into myWeatherDesk.
Questions people ask
Can I use myWeatherDesk without a Tempest account?
Yes. Enter a city, ZIP, airport, or address to use the forecast-backed display without private station readings.
Should Station ID and Device ID match?
Not usually. Station ID identifies the station. Device ID identifies a specific Tempest sensor device.
